Welcome to the AAGSA website! Looking for ways to get involved or stay connected to the Asian American community at Stanford and beyond? Check out this website for a calendar of upcoming events sponsored by AAGSA, links to student groups and other resources on campus, as well as announcements about events happening in the Bay Area.The Asian American Graduate Student Association invites you to our annual karaoke party! Your favorite tunes will be available, so come sing to your heart's content and show off that hidden American Idol talent. We will try to have a selection of both English and Asian songs, but feel free to bring your own discs if you have them!
Tasty snacks and drinks will be provided to keep you going all night long!!

Join AAGSA for our second dim sum outing of the year! I know what you're thinking... didn't we just have a dim sum outing?? The answer is, yes! We're sampling a different restaurant once a month because we love dim sum as much as you do!!
So come hang out with your AAGSA friends (or make new ones!) at Hong Kong Saigon Seafood Harbor Restaurant (1135 N Lawrence Expy, Sunnyvale, CA 94089).
We're meeting up at the Graduate Community Center (GCC) at 10:30 AM on Sun, Nov 8, then heading down to Sunnyvale at 11:00 AM.
Please RSVP on Facebook or by emailing su.aagsa@gmail.com by Friday night, and expect to spend $12-$15. If you can drive, please let us know, and how many passengers you can take. We need your help here so that we can reserve a table big enough and arrange rides!

Looking for something fun and creative to do on Halloween? Come out and carve a pumpkin with the Asian American Graduate Student Association (AAGSA)! No skills or tools necessary because we'll provide everything you need, including a small candle to light your fearsome creation!

Free bubble tea with a special treat: mooncakes! Because hey, it's the Mid-Autumn Festival (well technically, the day after). This lunar holiday is celebrated by many different cultures, so feel free to share stories with others about how you or your family celebrate the occasion!

The Asian American Activities Center (A3C) welcomes all grad students
to the new year! Join us this Wednesday (09/23) evening for a free dinner
and an opportunity to meet students of all backgrounds!! This is also a
great chance to find out more about the various graduate Asian American
